This privacy policy explains how Tachographs Hudson Trading (HUDSONS TRADING LIMITED, Company No. 04752869) collects, uses and protects your personal data.

When you contact us or place an order, we may collect:

- Vehicle and tachograph information

Enquiry Records and Reliability
Responding to your enquiry and keeping its operational receipt do not depend on advertising consent. We process necessary contact details to take steps at your request before a contract, or in our legitimate interests in answering business enquiries and preventing lost or duplicate requests. Our email processor, Resend, keeps the enquiry separately from optional Google measurement.
Each accepted enquiry has a random reference, time, form and service category, originating form page and acceptance status. These receipt fields contain no name, email, telephone or message. We also record the advertising permission reported at submission and, only with that permission, whether the current form URL contains a Google click signal, never its value. A signal does not prove that Google Ads generated the enquiry. We do not upload these records to Google.
The operational reporting window is 30 days in our email provider. Longer-term reporting requires a separately secured export with a documented retention purpose. Enquiry correspondence in business mailboxes is kept separately for responding to requests and any resulting orders; contact us about access or deletion. Retry details are held only in the open form's memory, not in advertising cookies or persistent browser storage.
Data Protection
We take data protection seriously and implement appropriate security measures. We use service providers to deliver enquiries and protect our website, and share information where needed to provide these services or where required by law.
Anti-Spam Protection
Our enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish genuine visitors from automated spam. Cloudflare processes technical browser and device signals for this security check. Our server sends the verification token to Cloudflare, not your enquiry message or contact fields. This protection is separate from optional analytics and advertising permissions. Optional Website Measurement
Where configured, optional Google analytics and advertising tags only load after the relevant consent. Our measurement events use controlled enquiry/service categories, not your name, email, telephone, company contact, address, vehicle registration, message or free-text search. Measurement page URLs omit query strings and fragments. Simple phone-link clicks are observations, not evidence of a completed call.
